I’m a therapy nerd—deeply trained, endlessly curious, and here for the long haul.

People Pleasing Women
Anxiety Therapy for High-Functioning Women Who Are Tired of Holding It All Together
You’re the one everyone relies on. But lately, it’s starting to wear on you.
You’re the one who remembers the birthdays, carries the mental load at home and at work, and stays calm when others fall apart. But under the surface? You’re exhausted. Not just from doing too much, but from feeling like it’s never enough.
You might be:
- A mom of young kids wondering why you feel disconnected, even when you’re “doing everything right”
- In a marriage where the emotional labor feels one-sided (but you’re scared to say it out loud)
- Managing trauma from childhood- abandonment, enmeshment, emotional neglect. Even if it looked “fine” from the outside
- Constantly chasing calm while performing toxic positivity you don’t actually believe
- Feeling guilt when you’re not grateful or overwhelmed when you try to feel anything at all
And maybe you’re starting to wonder:
What would it mean to stop overfunctioning and actually let myself be held?
You’ve Outgrown Surviving. Let’s Talk About What Healing Looks Like.
I love to work with women who are high-capacity, highly self-aware, and quietly unraveling under the weight of “being fine.” Together, we’ll build space to:
- Access the real emotions underneath the performance
- Reconnect with the parts of you that were never allowed to be messy
- Explore parts of you in a way that’s gentle, contained, and healing at your pace
- Learn how to stop absorbing other people’s needs and start honoring your own
You’ve done the hard things. You don’t have to keep doing them alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you different than any other therapist?
With over 20 years as a full-time therapist, I’ve trained with top clinicians at major hospitals, TCU, and the Yale REACH Institute. I bring deep experience in treating complex trauma, co-occurring diagnoses, and challenging family dynamics.
I create personalized, thoughtful treatment plans, never just symptom checklists. My approach blends strong clinical skills with genuine warmth and care. You won’t be passed around between providers; I run an independent practice, which means consistency, high standards, and a relationship you can count on.
How Do You Treat Children?
Therapy with kids always starts with understanding their world—and that means involving their parent or caregiver. I’ll work with you to gather insights and set goals.
Sessions may include play, art, or games depending on your child’s age and needs. These tools help kids express themselves, process experiences, and build emotional skills in ways that feel safe and natural. I’ll regularly update you and offer strategies to support progress at home.
Is virtual anxiety therapy secure?
Yes. I use fully HIPAA-compliant video and messaging platforms to protect your privacy. Whether you’re at home, work, or anywhere in Texas, you can count on a secure and confidential therapy experience. You can also review my Notice of Privacy Practices for more details.
What does getting started look like?
We begin with a comprehensive initial evaluation, exploring your symptoms, strengths, goals, and communication style. From there, we co-create a tailored treatment plan using evidence-based practices and insights from my 20+ years of experience. Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and built around what actually works for you. I’ll probably make jokes early on. You’re allowed to laugh at the therapist or tell me I’m lame. I have kids, I’ve heard it before.
How can I use my insurance?
I am in network with several plans including Curative, Aetna, Optum, United and others and will submit billing for you. If you are private paying can get a superbill to submit to your insurance to access out of network benefits or use Thrizer which helps with out of network billing. Check your insurance plan to see what percentage they pay for out of network visits.
What if I have been in therapy before?
That’s a great place to start. We’ll talk about what helped—and what didn’t. My flexible, integrative approach allows me to adjust your therapy to fit your needs. Whether you’ve done short-term work or need something deeper, I can offer new tools and insights to help you move forward.
Can you prescribe medication?
No, but I collaborate closely with medical providers and can refer you to a psychiatrist if needed. For some, combining trauma therapy with the right medication brings the best results—but you’ll never be pressured. Any decision about medication will be yours.
